Our Focus
We aim to support children with understanding their emotions and becoming self-sufficient.
How we do this:
- Supporting teachers with jobs in the classroom
- Learning coping skills to process ones own emotions
- Partners with parents for the success of their child’s following years in education
- Daily conversations about social cues and check-ins to help children understand how they are feeling
- Supportive materials will follow you and your child to their next school to continue the success in the classroom
Our Curriculum
As we are a Play-Based center we truly focus around social-emotional and self-help skills.
This looks like:
- Supporting teachers with any messes made at meal times
- Making ones own nap mat in the preschool rooms to support self-sufficient skills and helps with social skills when peers need assistance
- Creating supportive materials for social-emotional skills and self-help skills that will be used at home and at school
- Supporting peers through their emotions and coming up with solutions on how we can try and support them in their moment of need
- Verbalizing emotions and duties in the classroom on the Childs level and within their vocabulary so they are able to collaborate with teachers in the classroom

Hours of Operation
Open Monday – Friday 7:00am-6:00pm
Children are able to come for a max 10 hours a day.
We follow the La Center School District schedule for holiday closures, and inclement weather closures to keep families and staff safe.
Full Time Spots – Monday – Friday
Part Time Spots – Scheduled Monday & Tuesday or Wednesday-Friday

Little Sprouts is more than just an academic experience for our son and daughter. Kate and her staff also nurture and instill life long confidence, kindness, and emotional intelligence. My daughter attended Little Sprouts for the last year. It was a hard transition for us because this was her first care center. Luckily the friendly staff was able to help us both through, eventually she started asking to go to school! The facility is clean and well stocked with plenty of toys/educational materials. Their backyard play area is beautiful and they even have rainsuits to enjoy it all year round. All state regulations are upheld and security/safety is taken very seriously. The owners are a great team and keep families informed using newsletters. They helped us with potty training and she even knows her numbers and letters! Thank you little sprouts for everything!

We love Little Sprouts so much. I have two kiddos that go here. Both kids have learned and grown so much since we have started. I’m in awe every day when they come home with new knowledge/skills.
